(Submitted by Heidi Johnson) The Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape Tribal Federation’s summer camp will be held from Monday July 29 to Friday August 2, 2013.  At this time, we have thirty enrolled children between the ages of seven and fourteen.  During camp children learn the Lenape language, traditional Lenape dancing and pow-wow dancing, the history of the tribe, as well as, Lenape traditions and stories.  This camp is one of the many ways that the Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape Cultural Retention Committee  helps to keep our traditions alive for the next seven generations.
